- 14.4bps modems are not all that bad and are probably a good match for the lowly
- a1200 with no fast ram. I just hope dealers can sell the things without such
- modems for people who already have better modems. I can see the point of using
- 14.4 modems though, they cost practically nothing and give a minimum of
- performance yet they allow AT to jack up the price disproportionately. :)
